The Cost of the 12-day, 11-night Faroe Islands/Copenhagen City Tour, June 7-18, 2025 is $5,995.00 based on double-occupancy - see the cost page for more details.
Please note: we are now offering a pre-tour early arrival day in which travelers can opt to arrive a day early for an additional cost in order to acclimate and be better prepared for the start of the tour. Getting into the Vágar Airport can sometimes be challenging so we do highly recommend considering this option. See the itinerary page for more details.
Overview of Trip
We spend extra time fine tuning our itinerary so that we have a great mix of activities and experiences for all to enjoy, that you won't find on other standardized tours, and our Faroe Islands/Copenhagen City 2025 Tour has it all - textiles, outdoor activities and hikes, sampling traditional foods and cultural experiences, and music!
Our Faroe Islands/Copenhagen City Tour 2025, a 12-day, 11-night tour, June 7 - 18, 2025, begins with 9 days in the magical Faroe Islands and ends with 3 days in Copenhagen. This trip will offer a rich variety of new activities and experiences that were not on our prior two Faroe trips - for the fiber folks we will explore the rich textile history of the Faroes through their traditional dress with a visit to Mýrifípan, take a tour of the Snældan Wool and Knitwear mill to learn more about their history in wool processing and traditional patterns, have an optional workshop with designer Katrina í Geil, and experience a bindiklubb. For those looking for stunning scenery and being outdoors, we will be spending a couple of days in the southernmost island of Suðuroy as well as exploring some of the northern islands. We will visit Fjallaross to learn more about the Faroese ponies and their return from near extinction. And some activities we will repeat, as Elin Brimheim Heinisen's afternoon concert and the Vestmanna Sea Cliffs Boat Tour.
Food is another important aspect of the Faroese culture and our experience of the Faroe Islands. We have carefully selected locations for 5 group dinners, and 5 lunches are included for our convenience in scheduling our activities.
Our tour finishes in one of our favorite cities, Copenhagen. We will spend 3 nights in the lovely, historic waterfront Admiral Hotel Copenhagen, which we love for its atmosphere and great location, just around the corner from Nyhavn and within walking distance to all of our suggested 'to do' activities in Copenhagen. And the award winning restaurant Salt, specializing in modern Danish cuisine, is just down stairs!
And new for this tour - a one day tour of Lund and Malmo in Sweden via the Øresund Bridge.
