Wales
Our journey through Wales was a captivating adventure filled with rich history and stunning landscapes. We began our trip in Cardiff, where we explored the charming streets and visited iconic sites like Llandaff Cathedral, one of the oldest Christian sites in Britain, and Cardiff Castle, a historical gem that tells the story of the city’s past.
A highlight of our travels was the visit to St. Fagans National History Museum, an open-air museum showcasing the lifestyle and culture of the Welsh people through period buildings. We were also enchanted by the beauty of Tintern Abbey, a magnificent structure that has stood the test of time, and the vibrant atmosphere of the Wonderwool Wales Wool Festival, where we connected with local artisans and celebrated the art of wool crafting.
As we ventured through the picturesque landscapes of the Brecon Beacons National Park and along the stunning Gower Peninsula, we were treated to breathtaking views and charming villages. Our exploration continued with visits to historic sites like Powis Castle and Caernarfon Castle, each offering a glimpse into Wales' rich heritage.
Reflecting on our experiences in Wales, we cherish the memories created and the beauty encountered. The allure of Wales' natural wonders and vibrant culture continues to inspire us, and we eagerly anticipate future journeys to this enchanting destination.
